I absolutely love jacaranda trees. I grew up in Torrance, California and the streets were lined with the purple trees. Recently, I lived in Ventura for a year, where I saw them blooming everywhere. This was a difficult time in my life and the trees gave me a feeling of hope. This painting was Inspired by David Schoonover Photography and my love of Hawaii and jacaranda trees. Maui has beautiful countryside with jacaranda trees and green pastures.
