I'm the original artist Jennifer Beaudet from California. I've been selling my art online since 2009. I started with Daily Paintworks and Etsy. When I first started a blog I called it My Life As a Starving Artist but when I realized I could sell my work I changed it! When I started painting I often googled my name to see how it came up in a search. I saw a jewelry store with the same name and a lawyer...that's all. There were no other artists by the same name and I never thought I'd have a problem with that. About 2 years ago I noticed another artist with the same name. She's not from California but paints similar. The embarrassing thing is somehow she got the website domain JenBeaudet and her website comes up first in a google search. Now I fear people will think she's the artist of my paintings. Almost all of the images that show up in the search are mine. You can see them on here. They're the same. (there are a lot because I've been painting for over 10 years). I'm posting this so that there is no confusion. I am the original Jennifer Beaudet who paints the women in the palette knife paintings of the red dresses, the jacaranda trees, all of the beautiful florals. I think you can tell my style.
